I was quite disappointed with most of my results since, well, I had been expecting more. & I didn't manage to reach the goal that I set for my chemistry, which was to get A+ for EOYs ))):, and also to get an A for Physics.
Freak lah. I can't maintain my GPA no more ))):!
And and, I got a B for Chinese. Chinese. I'm freakin' dead luh ))):. I did worse for Chinese than I did for Physics, and that's saying alot, innit. RARR.
STUPID CLL. ARGH!
Please please please let me do well for History!!!
Oh and i'm darned happy and super surprised that I got A for Bio =D. It's totally unexpected, but i'll take whatever i'm dished with :D.

GUESS WHAT GUESS WHAT?
I'm back from SINGFEST 2008 & I BET YOU ARE F*CKING JEALOUS.
It was one of THE best days of my life, along with KT's concert night, of course. This is officially the first festival that I have ever been to.
OKOK. ANYWAY, so right, on the glorious morning of 3 August 2008, five of the eight of us, me, Oli Tay, Nic Yim, Zenn Tan and Tang You Loser xD met at Dhoby Ghaut to complete our totally big and totally freakishly pink board.
We were doing at Yoshi at first, but that auntie chased us out cause she said "our marker smell was too strong". Like hell it was. She kept coming round every 2 seconds to tell us not to dirty the tables, WHICH WE DID NOT.
So we very pathetically ended up at a desolated corridor where people who was trying to get to the lift kept staring at our masterpiece:
Oli is trying very hard to look philosophical *to be or not to be...* LOL. DID I MENTION THAT OLI HAD A FREE PAIR OF VIP PASSES? ASSHOLE.
& SEE OUR NICE NICE BOARD! "CALL ME, JASON - 9XOX - OXOX"
this bimbo slogan was thought by erhem, Tang and Zona the cuckoo persons.
Yim wants Jason to call her! Jason Lee, Jason Tan, WHATEVER, JUST CALL ALREADY! Hahaha!
So after we've finished making the board, we left PS at 12.15 in search for the mysterious (nah not really) Fort Canning Park. It took us like, 10 minutes to walk there and we reached at around 12.30.
When you are trying desperately to find the place, it is like a beacon of light through the darkness to see the "MAIN ENTRANCE" sign.
Doors were supposed to be opened at 1PM, but there was already a queue. But it was still relatively short since according to Joanne who came later, the queue later stretched from the top to the bottom of the hill. Heh.
Meanwhile, we just talked and crapped about Physics =_=. A GIRL CAME UP TO US AND REQUESTED TO TAKE A PICTURE OF THE PANIC SIDE OF OUR VERY NICE BOARD
Did you know, suprisingly, we were like, one of the only ones who brought boards there? =_= As in pre-made and of this humongous size. I thought that surely, a lot of people would bring boards there too. Ah wells.
Anyway, Oli went to get her VIP passes while we continued to queue. She got in through the fast track entrance. Like KNS can ):. So we queued and queued and finally got in at around 2.15?? Jiayi joined us at 1.45 and Zenn, I have to say, was being surprisingly gentlemanly since he kept sheltering the girls from the Sun. An improvement. I mean it from the bottom of my heart :D.
I repeat. It is glorious to see the main entrance when you've been waiting for an hour plus.
Didn't take pictures of the festival ground cause well, we were chionging to try and get to the main stage. We passed by the second stage, but the crowd was just F*cking pathetic. One line? Right.
Anyway, we found that we still had to wait outside for the OTHER door to open to get to the stage. It just got more and more crowded and it was like people were getting ready to mosh before the actual festival actually started 8-).
Before we went to queue, we went to get our merchandises! I got a white Panic! shirt and it's chio <3. style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">Question: HOW MANY PERSONS DOES IT TAKE TO DIRECT A JOANNE TO THE FAST TRACK ENTRANCE?
Ans: you don't even want to know. lol.
Once we got Joanne, we tried to go back adn meet with the rest of the gang. But it had already becoem more packed we we could only recognize the gang with our great pink giant board sticking out. Tsk. And the woman in front of us refused to let us pass despite it being obvious that our friends were right in front. Stupid.
When the doors to the main stage finally open, cheers could be heard and then you could feel the pressure from behind you. I mean, you seriously can't MOVE. People just pushed you along. Like +_+. Good thing Joanne is tall, I used her as my pole, y'know ;).
Then we pushed and pushed until we got in and we immediately ran down the stairs to get the front. Thanks to my dodging and pushing skills, we made it quite to the front, albeit a little off-centred. We were only like around 5-6 rows behind for most performances.
P.S. The weather was F*cking sweltering. We were sweating before we even started jumping up & down. I must EMPHASIZE THAT the day was totally humid and hot and every artiste who came out made a comment about how hot it was. Like what is wrong with the weather? I mean, I'm glad that it didn't rain and all, but still.
EVERYONE was fanning themselves crazy throughout every performance.
Back to the topic, first performance was Stacie Orrico and was quite ok, there were only a few lines at the mosh pit thought, for the kiasu people. For the first 2 acts, the whole 8 of us, just sat back and relaxed and shouted whenever we feel like.
Pictures from Stacie Orrico's set:
The few pathetic "moshers".
I actually had lotsa quite good pics of her cause there was no one to block me ;D
Oli & Zenn, shell-shocked at Stacie Orrico's 'little black party frock'
Jiayi with the umbrella-ella-eh, Tang You Loser, and the Goddess. Nah. It's just me.
Introducing the party-goers (not all 8 luh, just some cause didnt manage to take all, lol):
The Zone.
The Zaney TOOT.
Yimmie.
Oli.
She's like. The CLASSIC Joanne can. She's like totally DEMURE (as usual) HAH. I hope no one has any nightmare tonight. LOL.
The BIMBO. She actually had matching glow-in-the-dark pink earrings but it went God-Knows-Where. LOL.
Okok. Next up was Jamie Scott - The only songs that I've heard from him was "Standing in the Rain" and "When Will I See Your Face Again". I think the cellist and the double bassist had like ultimate coolness instruments - electric cello and bass =_=
Cool luh. But he was also quite poor thing. Nobody was high and the cellist was trying to get everyone's spirit up. I felt sorry for him. Hahaha.
Pics of him:
Nearing the end of Jamie Scott, EVERYONE just stood up and basically chionged the moshing pit in order to catch the next three performances - OneRepublic, Panic! and Jason Mraz.
We, like all kiasu Singaporeans, just grabbed our board and elbowed our way through till we had quite a good position :D. But some stupid people kept elbowing their way through. How irritating. We were high and OneRepublic was really splendid live. They hit all the notes - Ryan really had a wide range of vocals. Everyone just sang along to "Stop & Stare", "Apologize". Well, I sang along to say "Say (All I Need)" too - I love that song :D.
Pictures:
The very *drools* cool guitarist of OR.
Men with guitars are HOT.
Men playing piano are hotter :D.
People starting moshing adn got realll crazy during OneRepublic's set. Cause they were really good. So kudos to that.
Next up was OMFG PANIC!!! When they came out we waved our board around so hard but they didn't respond to our declaration of love ):. Haha. Vut seriously, we were disappointed that they didn't say anything ):.
Still. They were f*cking phenomenal. Brendan was seating through his WHOLE shirt before he came onstage so we were like WHOA. The only really sad thing was that the friggin' MICROPHONES BROKE DOWN DURING "BUT IT'S BETTER IF YOU DO"!!! I loved that song!
And they didn't notice the glitch until after they finished the song. I was crushed. Still, the crowd was great and they sang along to the song.
When they were doing "I Write Sins, Not Tragedies", Brendan stepped away from the microphone and the crowd shouted "the bride's groom is a WHORE" at him. We saw them smile :D. It was so cool luh. Seriously. I'm more proud of Singaporeans than I had ever been.
OHOH! And they played "That Green Gentleman (things have changed)" which IS MY FAVORITE PANIC! SONG!!! I WAS JUST SHRIEKING WHEN THEY ANNOUNCED. Ask Tang. Haha. During 9 in the afternoon, everyone just sang along, like they did during Apologize. You could barely hear Brendan. HAHA.
Pictures:
HE IS SO CUTE!!! He's looking at me! SEE! Hahaha.
Bassist/ Guitarist - he was doing most of the friendly banter. xD
I <3 them Seriously do.
Next up was the long awaited Jason Mraz. He got the loudest applause and everything else cause he was simply, the best :D. Even Panic! couldn't beat him.
When he got up, we screamed his name and I SWEAR THIS TIME, he looked DIRECTLY AT US and at our board. SERIOUSLY.
He was reading our board and all. I could totally feel his intense gaze on us. We were just melting. GOSH. But he also didn't say anything. So. ):.
He started off with The Remedy and it was just o_O (in a good way) live. I had the feeling when I was watching KT Tunstall perform :D. Then he performed more songs from new album. Kinda saddening cause I wanted him to perform more of his old songs. He also played GEEK IN THE PINK! Gosh it was really jaw-dropping! He just rambled on like a bullet train. Just plain genius.
And during "I'm Yours", I SWEAR, EVERYONE in the audience was singing. It was so deafening and everyone loved him. And he made the audience copy his move during a part of the song. Just hilarious. 10/10 STARS!!!
Pictures:
PCD was next and they were surprisingly GOOD. I mean, they could sing AND dance at the same time! W/O so much as panting. I'm like damned impressed can. They just. WOOSH. Aroused all the guys, basically and made Zenn horny too. TSK. There were like some drunkard guys in front of us who kept smoking and shouting "MARRY ME, NICOLE" and all sorts of unhearable dirty stuff. Gosh.
How crude can. No pics of PCD cause the assholes were blocking us. Like !^&*(
& Alicia Keys was wonderful too, but we left before Alicia finished her set cause of school the next day. She was a little too slick and a little boring, but still wonderful. I loved how she played "Superwoman" live :D. But didn't get to hear her perform 'No One' though, sadly ):.
BOO.
Videos that I took: (ADVICE EXTREME CAUTION IF YOU ARE EASILY CARSICK 'CAUSE I WAS TOO BUSY ENJOYING MYSELF)
More to Life - Stacie Orrico:
Say (All I Need) - OneRepublic
The Remedy (I Won't Worry) - Jason Mraz
Geek In the Pink - Jason Mraz
GTG. GOSH. BYE :D.

I'm so PROUD of 4G'08.
TRULY, SERIOUSLY.
You guys might not have won the championships, but you guys seriously did VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY EXCEPTIONALLY EXCELLENT!!!
Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you for taking the time off the busy busy schedules to train for inter-class. I'm really touched. Seriously.
Like the class dance, you guys did your bestest for everything and that always ends up in doing our class proud.
Sorry that people like me, who has no dance/sports cells AT ALL in my body can't do anything much except to yell and shout and saying 'good job' that might turn out to be superbly irritating. Still.
4th is NOT bad. I think we are the only class to have like, both girls and guys in the top 4 for interclass luh! Really impressed and thanks for doing it for the class and risking injury too ie Qian Hui's injured hands and everything else.
It's not anyone's fault that we lost. So people, DON'T BLAME YOURSELF (ie LUA!).
Am also damned proud of Regina, who although is allergic of the sun, kept scurrying around bringing water to people and becoming faint herself. Tsktsk.
GOOD JOB 4G'08 <3

Perhaps I should join Guitar Club next year.
That would give me a perfect excuse to learn a new instrument and enhance my artistic side (& play otherside of the world) :D.
Anyways, GUESS WHAT GUESS WHAT.
I'M GOING TO SINGFEST! I'M GOING TO SINGFEST! I'M GOING TO SINGFEST! I'M GOING TO SINGFEST! I'M GOING TO SINGFEST! I'M GOING TO SINGFEST! I'M GOING TO SINGFEST! I'M GOING TO SINGFEST! I'M GOING TO SINGFEST!
I HAVE TICKETS I HAVE TICKETS! I bet you lot are jealous! OF COURSE YOU ARE AND YOU DONT HAVE TO ANSWER ME!
I'm off to see ONEREPUBLIC, PANIC!, JASON MRAZ, ALICIA KEYS, JAMIE SCOTT, STACIE ORRICO AND PCDs (bleargh, actually i hate them) on AUGUST 2!
& it's only 2 freakin'' weeks away!! I can't wait!
The whole gang of 7 of us (Ollie, me, Jiayi, Nicole YIM, TANG yiling and ZENN TAN the stingy ass) are gonna rock our heads off :D! I'm going to film all the performances and I SWEAR I WILL GET TO THE FRONT OF THE STAGE! MWHAHAHAHHA. Tang says she's gonna bring a small ladder. She's apparently crazier than I am.
& yes. I sent my MP3 to the repair centre ))):. That means all my thousand plus songs are gone. Plus my 200+ KT videos. Oh the pain! But alas, the stupid machine refuses to shut down so it's all its fault. GRR.
School is *fill in the blank*. Exams starts in like 6 weeks and I have not started revision at all.
I feel so darned guilty and keeps feeling I should be studying and not surfing the net looking for latest updates on KT ):.
KT IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT FOR BEING SO GREAT. GRR.
& LA Film is due next week and it's not finished yet. HOW HOW HOW?
School is so depressing. On the bright side, Zheng Lao Shi says that Pam & I are considered to be quite fast for our Lun Wen.
So I'm happy for that ^^.
Ok, I've posted. Bye & cya people.

To my dearest Ling Hong (whose birthday i forgot ):),
SORRY THAT I FORGOT.
& HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRL (:
This is the 4th year that we have known each other and I really treasure every single second that we had together.
Esp that 1st crazy year in Jap lessons (:.
You kept me company throughout Jap lessons and I appreciate it. Without your lame jokes and everything, I'd have became a very bored woman ;).
Even though we're not in the same class or we don't see each other so much, you're still one of my very, very close friends and we'll remain that no matter what. I promise that promise we made in Secondary 2 after YOU quit jap. Haha (:.
Love ya lots (:
